Lisa is a multifaceted artist, she has loved art and art history for as long as she’s been acquainted with them. As a young girl her early stimuli were yearly visits to different art museums across Europe. She has a great admiration for Leonardo, Salvador Dali, Alfred Chircop and Gerhard Richter. Her studies and work experience have molded her interests in materials, colour, visual art and 3D design. Her artistic formation in early years was under Margaret Chircop’s guidance, she attended the Art and Design Centre and was tutored by Patrick Galea, Paul Scerri, Antoine Paul Camilleri, Alfred Camilleri and other creatives and in later years she undertook an undergraduate and postgraduate degree specializing in history of architecture under the tutorship of Prof. Conrad Thake. Her love for art was further encouraged under the tutelage of Prof. Keith Sciberras, Prof. Mario Buhagiar, Prof, Charlene Vella, Dr Mark Sagona, Dr Christian Attard and others. She is presently also collaborating with artist Ivan Grixti on individual and joint projects.
